Political Notes

The Political Notes exhibition reflects on the Taliban's hostile takeover of Afghanistan in 2021. The show includes minimalistic paintings and installations that depict the political power struggle and the suffering of women and children. Amidst the constant political upheaval, we are left to wonder who is playing what role in this ongoing symphony of events. However, the media only offers us a limited perspective, leaving us with a incomplete understanding of the full picture.

It is deeply saddening to witness the plight of those who have done nothing to deserve the suffering they are enduring in the midst of political conflict. They do not deserve this. No one does. This exhibition serves as a powerful reminder of the human toll of political strife.
